wow that's some commitment from Kimbra. Melb to LA to Adelaide in less than 3 days just for a 30sec spot. hope it pays off for her. she deserves just as much international recognition as Gotye does.

he only got a 7.7 from P4K which is a very middle of the road score for them. not quite low enough to hurt his credibility but not high enough to cause a stir and raise some hype. if Somebody I Used.... gets anywhere near the exposure that Sweet Disposition got through 2010 i can see him pulling a decent crowd by April at Coachella.

How have American audiences forgotten Gotye's acting career so quickly? He was great in Roadtrip.

Somebody that I Used to Know charting in the US and an increasing public awareness based on things such as a Jimmy Kimmel performance are far more likely to sell him lots of records over there than a high score on Pitchfork.

yeah you're right. but in saying that the acclaim Cut Copy and Tame Impala received from P4K amongst others did a world of good for them.

I was under the impression that Solitude is Bliss did well on American and British radio.

But a quick google gave me 0 hard evidence. Shoot me if I'm wrong.
