28 Days - Use It

“In the end it’s all about the music,” I couldn’t have put it better myself and this line is definitely the core element in this latest effort by 28 Days.
Use it could be a retaliation anthem by the guys, summing up how they feel about everyone who downs their music just because it isn’t a style that appeals to them. Frontman Jay Dunne answers his critics in the song with the simple words, “We’re not the same.”
There has definitely been little space left in Use It to warrant any form of negative feedback. Overall it is a cool, tight track.
Dunne holds so much emotion and attitude in his vocals that it’s hard not to absorb the lyrics as the real deal. The listener is led to understand the reality of the song and how close to home it really hits for the guys. Dunne doesn’t allow us any room to think any different.
The music hasn’t strayed from the distorted, hard-hitting formula that we’ve become accustomed to by 28 Days. But it definitely works for them and compliments Dunne’s lyrics and vocals.
The rest of the single contains contents for your PC. These include a live performance of the track, Drinkin’ and also a promo from their forthcoming DVD, When Dickheads Snap 3.
All in all it’s a fairly loaded single which shows that 28 Days still have plenty more in store for us.
