Bodyjar - Jarchives...10years of Bodyjar

10 years on and these lads from Melbourne are still going strong.  With the release of Jarchives, Bodyjar get to sum up ten years of rocking out. With a swag of albums now under their belt and many kilometres of touring in this land and many others Jarchives seems appropriate to show some of their achievements over this time.

Jarchives is a CD and DVD combination, the CD contains 14 tracks and starting off with one of their latest songs 17 years which is entirely indicative of their sound.  The usual guitar sounds of Baines and Read are excellent and tight.

The CD contains all their big hits and the band’s favourites.  My favorites have to be You’ve Taken Everything and Hazy Shade of Winter, an excellent cover of the Paul Simons song.

The inside cover has glowing tributes from the likes of Living End and Blue Line Medic.  According to these tributes the Bodyjar boys excel at having fun and sinking a few quite bevvies whilst enjoying their music and touring.  This is further apparent on the DVD containing 18 video clips and footage of the boys on tour, backstage, in the studio along with some crazy stunts. The addition of all their clips is pretty cool, it is as you have just switched on Rage and caught a Bodyjar special. 

If you are a fan of Bodyjar this CD/DVD combination is a must own, if you just like seeing a bunch of crazy kids from Melbourne you cannot go wrong either - an excellent greatest hits package.
