Every once in a while you see a support band that make you stand up and take notice, unfortunately Regular John were not one of those bands. The audience seemed more preoccupied with getting drinks or checking out the merch. Understandably it was obvious why the audience were preoccupied, the front man was virtually inaudible over the static. If you could hear the band they might have been more enjoyable, but it was clear from the beginning that this was Kisschasy’s show.

There were a lot of happy, not depressed people when Kisschasy hit the stage, their set was extremely tight and started off with crowd favourite Do-Do’s and Whoa-Oh’s. Their set consisted of both old and new songs, which appealed to both new and old fans. Kisschasy is one of those bands who interact with their audience, at every opportunity lead vocalist/guitarist Darren Cordeux mentioned that after the gig they would be at the merch table, and wanted everyone from the audience to come say hi and have a drink with them.

After the band finished their new song Generation Why, they threw down their instruments and left the stage. The crowd could not get enough of this band and started shouting out for an encore, Cordeux came back on stage and performed a solo version of Black Dress which the crowd was singing along to and gave everyone shivers, he was then joined by the rest of the band members and performed Spray on Pants. After they had finished the song, Cordeux, in true rock – œn roll style, took a stage dive into the adoring fans it was a true rock – œn roll end to to a rock – œn roll night.
