One Movement Snippets -Pageants and Picnics

Bright folk flowers Pageants and Picnics strummed and bowed in the sunshine at the Rydges street stage for only one song, Wesley, before being shut down briefly due to technical problems. After a few minutes of encouragement from the crowd to continue unplugged, they set off again, fingerpicking perkily while OM staff tried to nail down the PA probs.
Battling some screeching feedback, they persevered with These Days and drew in more punters who sat on the pavement to take in their cutesy earnestness. Unlike many acts on the fringe, they rarely stopped smiling. A cover of Castledoor’s Remember When had them back in the saddle to ride through the rest of an exceptionally pleasant set.
