The city streets were littered with black t-shirts. People all making there way to what could be the thrash concert of the decade.

As the hall started to fill up, band Double Dragon opened with a blazing set full of head pounding beats and melodic guitar riffs – a great way to start the night.

20 minutes later there was a uplifting roar as the boys from Megadeth made there way to the stage. Led by Dave Mustaine the show got underway. After a few technical difficulties the mosh pit started to bounce as Dave and the boys belted out riff after riff and solo after solo. The intensity was rising all the way through the set. With tracks such as She-Wolf, Hanger 18, Symphony of Destruction and Peace Sells the crowd was left begging for more. Ask and you shall receive as Megadeth returned to the stage for Holy Wars.

The stage slowly undertook a transformation for the Slayer set; a white banner in-front of the stage, the light dimmed and smoke began to pour out. Lights began to flicker and then BANG. Slayer was in town.
After the first song Tommy Araya made an announcement that he would not be doing much singing tonight as he has lost his voice. This was noticeable as his voice was very hoarse and he could barely speak. Even though Araya didn’t do much singing the crowd sang loud and there was help from the singer from Double Dragon and the guitarist from Megadeth.

The band pressed on with the crowd picking up were Tommy left off and Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman shredding on the guitars. The circle pit started to spin as the set got faster and faster. With tracks such as Jihad, Disciple, Dead Skin Mask, Angel of Death, South of Heaven and Reign in Blood there was easily enough to keep the fans moshing hard.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first!
