Woah. Just got over the hangover from Foreshore and Shakedown. What a day and what a night. At Bar 32, we relived the The Presets as the DJs cranked out a few favourites as well as some hardcore dance to replicate the Lawn Stage effect. There was also some fabulous choices made by our lovely FL DJs, whipping out back-to-back Ladyhawke with My Delirium followed by PNAU’s Embrace.

The little bar was getting pretty busy after midnight. Looking around the room, there were a few people with the grey Foreshore wrist bands who didn’t get enough of the Foreshore action and danced like crazy. It wasn’t all about the festival, however, as there were plenty there just wanting the usual Shakedown good times. The Movember moustache was making one final appearance for the weekend. By this stage they were looking pretty shabby and in desperate need for a visit to the local barber at the Dickson Tradies.

Another prominent feature for the evening was sweat. Understandable as it gets quite hot in Bar 32 when one dances like a maniac to MGMT but it’s high time we got AC action downstairs. The fans don’t cut it. Looks like us patrons better drink more at the bar to line the pockets of the Bar 32 owners so they can afford some. Either that or the DJs can leverage off sweaty people and play the classic cheesy but awesome track Sweaty by Muscles (just putting an early request in guys). See you all there real soon. X
