What do you get when you smash together Canberra’s preeminent festival organiser’s and the city’s number one indie dance destination? One crazy concoction of indie/alt/dance and a really good time! That’s what happened when Foreshore crashed Shakedown on Saturday night!

Here at FasterLouder we make no secret of the fact we (heart) Bar 32. Likewise we are big fans of the Foreshore Summer Music Festival. We couldn’t think of anything we’d rather do than bring two of our dear loves together and throw a little pre-Foreshore bash at Bar 32. So that is exactly what we did.

With more Presets and Pnau remixes than you could poke a stick at the kids of Canberra danced the night away with their favourite Bar 32 and FasterLouder DJ’s as well as special guest DJ’s courtesy of the great Lexington Music; RYFY and Tom of Hancock Basement fame.

With ticket and goodies giveaways the lovely Bar 32 patrons no doubt were satisfied. Some highlight tracks of the night included; Crystal Castles, Ladyhawke, Empire of the Sun, and of course a good dose of our beloved Bloc Party for good measure.

Security kept themselves occupied ensuring some of the drunker punters kept their clothes on as the temperature seemed to just keep going up in the hot and sweaty surrounds of the bar.
