Friday night at REV was off to a slightly slower than usual start with the boy to girl ratio a little too high with a little too much testosterone in the down-stairs area. It didn’t take long however, for the usual indie crowd to turn up and hit the bar, and shortly thereafter hit the dance floor.

When upstairs opened there was a flurry of kids heading up for the good stuff. Although it should be said that the sound upstairs was a little off with just the one speaker. Nevertheless if you want requests it’s the place to go. This reviewer scored herself a Bloc Party double-play.

Back downstairs the place was packed by midnight, with the oh-so-indie crowd getting down to The Presets, MGMT and other luscious tunes to see in the weekend.

Did anyone else notice the toilet door locks have been fixed in the ladies, what a pleasant surprise! We (heart) you Bar 32.
