CHECK OUT THE CRAZINESS HERE!

It was another frivolous night for REV @ Canberra’s BAR 32. If you were at REV last Friday (July 25) you would know that it went off like a house on fire. Late into the night – BAR 32 was smack bang full of people.

REV starts it’s engines when doors open at 8pm but doesn’t really kick off until about 9pm but after that it’s usually beaming with all sorts of folk. At around midnight there was a massive line up just to get inside. A lot of people were waiting on the street for quite a while. So just a hint to future REV kids – coming in earlier is an ideal idea especially if you know you are interested in getting cosy on the awesome lounging areas.

If you wanted to move around freely you couldn’t do it without using force. It was JUST TOO PACKED! (Not that is a bad thing!). It was all push and shove, and dance where you could find the room. BAR 32’s new upstairs lounge is probably one of the bar’s most attractive new features. If you’re in the mood for a chill out – then upstairs is definitely the place to be dance wise and if you want to turn into a total spaz, downstairs is for you. The lighting is absolutely awesome at REV, as it sets the perfect scene to suit the music that is being played to you.

Not only were FASTER LOUDER [FL] present to document the night – they wanted to know what’s going with the minds of young REVers! FL’s camera girl gave the REVers an opportunity to express what they were thinking by writing it down on paper. What they wrote – was funny and strange. Expressing everything from crazy words and sentences that only they would know – to disgraceful words (i.e. the C bomb!) But not only were people happy to participate but they were lovely enough to have a photo with a mate for the site. Make sure you keep a look out as FL’s roving reporters and photographers like to get around – especially to REV.

The weekly event presents to Canberra night lifers the best local DJs. Whether you are a fan of electro, pop, punk or rock you can be assured that REV will satisfy all of your musical needs. REV DJ’s spin tracks from the top indie acts. For just a measly 5 dollar entry you are ensured an awesome night. We guarantee with sprinkles on top!

The highlights of the night would have been the selection of music – and the upstairs lounge gathering of young enthusiastic beings!
