FL recently took time out to have a chat with Pat and Toby from Youth Group about their new album – The Night Is Ours. It will be the fourth for the lads and the first one since their massive cross-over hit Forever Young propelled them into the public eye. A number of the tracks on the album were produced by Chris Walla from Death Cab For Cutie and the results reveal a whole new side to Youth Group.
Since winning Breakthrough Artist ARIA in 2006 the band have been bunkered down in an old Mess Hall by Sydney Harbour recording this new offering. Over the next twenty minutes the lads will give you an exclusive track by track preview of the album and reveal what it was like recording in such an unconventional manner.
