Hey, I'm Rachel. Or Rach. Or Reicheru (japanese), or whatever you'd like to call me.

Before I get into anything, I am a classical musician, who primarily plays viola. I also can play violin and clarinet and have been in quartets, orchestras and jazz bands. Of recently I have started singing, and really want to join a band but am not sure as to what style would suit my voice, I love big band jazz/alternate rock myself, but am not sure if my voice is good or what it is capable of. But I could always write string parts for a band too.

I'm a Christian, and am proud to say it. But I respect anyone who beleives in something.

I'm in my first year of a double degree in Japanese and Journalism, hoping to hit it big time in the television area, on ABC or Ten, or become a foreign correspondant. But a music journalist would rock my world too.

Music is a huge part of my life. It's my ultimate use of expression. I play viola, violin, clarinet, a little piano and sing, while composing on the side. I always have music in my head, either playing it, listening to it (as I am now), writing it, anything. I'm known by others as having red/copper hair and always smiling. My name in Japanese calligraphy means "beautiful mind, always smiling", so maybe it's true. Want to know more? Add me and we can chat :-D
