All About Me
Nothing is comparable to live music. The anticipation leading up to the show, the increased heartbeat as you enter the doorway and the rush of the bands arrival on stage. Live music transcends the way people act in society, all of a sudden quiet people sing, placid girls scream their adoration and it is completley ok to sweat and dare I say, smell.
Acts I have seen (with weak knees) include Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, and Sparkadia (along with many others). My music taste is extensive, however Alex Turner's work is definetly at the top of the heap. I am currently immersed in work by Editors, Cut off your hands, Sparkadia, Beck, Vampire Weekend and Mercy Arms.
I study psychology at La Trobe uni, where their resources are used on various audio streaming sites, and every review site from nme to Roliing Stone.
