19 years old, born in Singapore, raised in Perth. "Sam" is short for "Samantha", unfortunately there's nothing more Asian that it could be short for =(
History major, probably U.S Modern History at this stage. Nothing else excites me more than a certain Doctor of History at UWA... I also take Psychology and Anthropology.
I am a complete and utter homebody. There is nothing I like better than to sit on my ass in front of my Foxtel, watching hours and hours of The Simpsons, Will & Grace, Nigella Feasts and Futurama repeats. I firmly believe that Cheese Slices is the greatest thing to grace our TV screens ever.
I can do retail therapy better, faster and stronger than anyone else out there, no lie. I will accept any and all challenges.
I also like reading, writing, swimming, sleeping, baking cupcakes, spending quality time on the internet, playing Final Fantasy III on DS and cuddling up with my baby bunny, Franklin B. Rabbit. Sometimes I sew/craft things too.
My favourite band is Gyroscope, it used to be Silverchair circa Neon Ballroom. I love going to shows, but rarely have enough money to do so. My taste in music is wide and varied, but I tend to lock myself into certain favourites that get played over and over. The only kind of music that I truly dislike is anything that gets played in clubs and really shouldn't be listened to in any other situation. Especially not on the bus with the volume up to eight bazillion, thanks.
Speaking of buses, I take public transport to 90% of my destinations. My carbon footprint is tiny, but mostly I'm too lazy/busy/scared to get my license.
I am currently employed by three companies. Two are Christmas Casual only deals, with "possibilities for ongoing employment". So I work in glorified fast food (off-season), at a gigantic fabric/homewares store, and a bookstore.
