Born and raised in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, One Bud Wiser comprised of Drumming’s newest prodigy Dion “lots of laughs but you still aint my fucking friend” Ceccato, Suss Russ with his off-time thumping bass melodies, and the two also accompanied by Dan, “one rude fucker” producing a new wave of thrash rhythm guitar and in an your face twisted breed of vocals.

Together for two years OBW have poorly focussed on creating their own original sound. Recording their first Demo early 2005… Ready to bust heads and disappointed with an extremely shitty outcome thanks to “Tobin” and the fuckers of “Troy Horse” One Bud spent the remainder of the year Cd-less and left playing at a variety of venues… At the time a four piece, lead guitarist, friend and partner was dropped, after he expressed he’s extremely queer obsession with boy’s in muscle shirts

Continuing as three-piece throughout 2006, OBW began to evolve into the trio of today. The following months were spent crafting new songs, smoking a shit load of dope and well a shit load of drinking… All this as One Bud Wiser prepared to once again face the studio and gear up to unleash upon the already thriving local Brisbane scene early 2007.

All else aside One Bud Wiser is an early 90’s inspired band almost now reaching their mid-twenties. OBW holds a punk rock edge supported by their crude attitude and accompanied by a fist full of antics. With lyrical content and music of a different yet familiar nature One Bud Wiser aim to bring fresh personality to the stage and to offend everyone in not just Brisbane, but too all who intervene within the Australian music scene.
