Misdirection are a rapidly growing force not to be overlooked. Forming in 2004, this high intencity four piece rock act are full of energy, love and most of all, passion for what they do.
Releasing their first ep in 2006, Misdirection had an instant response to the 6 track short player titled ".inertia", building their fanbase as they took their alternate rock to the masses. The release really showed the depth and versatility in their songwriting, though it was the live shows that was standing out, as they tore through their sets with a ferocious drive and wit, earning a real name for themselves.
Going through line-up changes within the following year, Misdirection saw some trying times, and took a break form the live scene to focus on writing for the next release. Now back with their debut album "Cast No Shadows" under their belt, the Gold Coast boys are stronger then ever. With a bevy of new songs, both rocky and soulful, Misdirection are currently touring across Oz, bringing their fun-filled live shows to a town near you. You don't wanna miss it.

Music music and music is what Misdirection is all about, Writing, recording, playing/rehearsing (at least twice a week, every week) listening to classics as well as keeping up with whatever is fresh and new, We have always and will always try something different, Bringing in new styles and instruments when and where we can, It's all about learning and growing in as many ways as possible, Musical fusion is where the industry is at the moment, blending new with old, heavy with soft, melodic with instrumental, you gotta keep trying it all, Well at least we like to try it all, It may not always work, but hey, at least we give it a go
