Artist to smoke Kurt Cobain

The bullshit-o-meter is squarely in the red on this one: Berlin-based artist Natascha Stellmach is claiming she will roll the ashes of Kurt Cobain into a spliff and smoke it for an exhibition.

| libby is stunned by the hotness of her new wheels |
Signed to a contract by British songwriters and record producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman, Libby achieved a string of hit records throughout the world, but her popularity began to decline by the early 1990s. For several years she attempted to establish herself as an independent performer and songwriter, distancing herself from her earlier work. Her projects were widely publicised, but despite a couple of hit singles, her albums failed to attract a substantial audience, resulting in the lowest sales of her career. In 2000, she returned to popularity as a dance/pop music artist and became well known for her provocative music videos and expensively mounted stage shows. Libby has established one of the longest and most successful careers as a performer in contemporary pop music, and in Europe and Australia has become one of her generation's most recognisable celebrities and sex symbols.
travel, especially places I've never been, wine, especially wine I can't afford, chocolate, tapas, the mighty boosh, playing hostess at my place to lots of visiting friends, vanity fair, sudoku, wandering around by myself, pedicures, vodka, the sopranos, ping pong, swearing, baking, wooly scarves, too many bands to mention, techno (sorry), boys (1 in particular, but lots of others are lovely)
I still love all my fave bands from my teens, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Jesus and Mary Chain, Jane's Addiction, Pavement, then into, Ride, Ultra Vivid Scene, QOTSA, and since then I've gotten more into bands like, Millionaire, Bloc Party, Arcade Fire, Muse, and I've loved artists and producers like Aphex and lots of the Warp/Artificial Intelligence stuff, and techno, some drum and bass, house (although there's lots of lame house music out there too, so it's hard to explain exactly what music I like to go out and listen to)
Wings of Desire, anything else by Wim is also interesting! Same goes for Hal Hartley films!
