Tim Hardaker's love for music is a sordid tale that stems back to school days spent behind the bike shed reading Rolling Stone rather than smoking cigarettes. A dud at sport & useless when it came to adding numbers together, when Tim had his first article published in street press at the age of 15 he made the obvious choice & set about making a career in writing. A few years (& untold amounts of blagging) later, Tim has found himself in the position of National Editor at inthemix.com.au, Australia's no 1 dance music website. As a journalist he's interviewed artists across the spectrum of music including UNKLE, Hybrid, The Music, Sparta, Dizzee Rascal, Underworld & Basement Jaxx. He's also been a regular contributor to press around the country including 3DWorld, Ministry, Scene, Onion & Catalogue, dabbles in radio as co-host of inthemix's weekly radio show on FBi 94.5 & tries his hand at DJing on the odd occasion having supported Freq Nasty, Stanton Warriors, Nubreed, Infusion & Evil9.
