All About Me
Spawning from a love of Killswitch Engage and a conveniently timed section of housework, guitarist Nick and drummer John met a few years ago. Since that moment, they began working to create a new sound in Sydney’s metal scene. After many years, auditions, ads, and a lot of blood sweat and tears it was through a drunken encounter at a party that bassist Michael was brought onto the scene. This was followed closely by frequent YouTube video maker Daniel, who joined Nick on guitar duties.
Having such wide varieties of musical tastes and backgrounds, it was sometimes difficult to determine and agree with which style and/or direction the band should go. One thing was for certain though, that through their name, a new band would arise. One that would stand out from the crowd. That band was Datura Curse.
