In a small hall behind a church in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs, anti-folk artist Kimya Dawson put on a rock show that equaled, if not bettered any other performance at Rod Laver Arena or Festival Hall this year - and all she needed was an acoustic guitar, a microphone and a chair.
