I was then suspended from school for getting drunk on the oval to celebrate Nick Rhode's birthday. It became clear to me music was a powerful distraction and I embraced it within my soul. Tiring of being a Shop Sharon I enrolled in the prof writing course at RMIT. Combining this with my obsession for all things aural, I unveiled a desire to pursue a career in rock journalism.
