A picture of myself clutching the Abba Arrival album cover endeavouring to learn every word says it all (and no! it wasn't recently!) This was my first vinyl experience and addictive beyond belief. I was then suspended from school for getting drunk on the oval to celebrate Nick Rhode's birthday. It became clear to me music was a powerful distraction and I embraced it within my soul. Tiring of being a Shop Sharon I enrolled in the prof writing course at RMIT. Combining this with my obsession for all things aural, I unveiled a desire to pursue a career in rock journalism.
