I great up in NY in the 70's in the wild west. I worked on the streets, and lived a strange life with my mother dying when I was one year old, I soon learned to fend for myself. I like to self reliant, then I can help others. Then I went to the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and lived in California for a while. Then I lived in Europe for 12 years.
I didn't own a phone or a TV for 15 years because I was always travelling. You don't learn 4 Languages from sitting at home on your ass watching TV! I did that by travelling. The whole idea of a journey should be NOT having a plan that gets in the way of fun, music, and potential. I never let the original plan keep me from learning and opportunity. Why bother booking a return flight? I probably won't come back.
I was a manager at PBS FM for 4 years, now I mostly play guitar and tour, but whe I am in Melbourne, I work part time for JMC Academy, an entertainment university that does university courses for audio engineering, TV production, performance and music business management.
I play with The Vagrants Have played too many gigs to remember, including major Australian festivals, European and American tours. www.thevagrants.com.au
