Tracer hasn‘t been that busy around these here parts
All About Me
Cool Green Recordings is pleased to announce the October 3rd European release of the new album “Spaces In Between” from the South Australian desert rockers Tracer.
Upon returning to Adelaide after their second European tour, Tracer headed straight into the studio, armed with a collection of their most kick-ass songs and recorded what is to be their introduction to the world stage. Entitled “Spaces In Between,” the debut album includes
12 in-your-face songs recorded with the same boldness in creativity and expansive sound audiences have come to expect from Tracer.
Based in Adelaide, South Australia, the trio embodies classic rock, steeped in epic guitars, clever hooks and raw, uncompromising vocals. Tracer’s balls-to-the-wall approach to their music and performance is winning them over new fans, and landed them with an international record deal.
“…that is the bands creed, that is what we live by... Play loud, with passion at 110% all the way.” says vocalist/guitarist Michael Brown.
“Too Much”, the first single and opening track from the album is a true example of Tracer’s unrelenting, bulldozer sound. Taking no prisoners, the power and contagious energy of the band is realized through meaty riffs and screaming vocals, all at break-neck pace.
Rising from the ashes of blues prodigy band The Brown Brothers in 2004, Michael (vocals, guitar) and Leigh Brown (vocals, bass) teamed up with drummer Andre Wise to form Tracer.
In the following years the trio have found success with two independent releases “Into The Night” and the critically acclaimed “L.A.?”; two international tours winning a coveted showcase slot at Germany’s PopKomm Music Conference in Berlin and a string of dates throughout Germany, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK and support slots for Little Red, Children Collide, The John Steel Singers and Cassette Kids,
The band will support the release “Spaces In Between” by undertaking a Europe wide tour supporting Royal Republic in October 2011.
