All About Me

Exciting and eclectic mix of influences, creating songs that affect the soul and arouse the senses…

The energy that The Wireflys put out is positively charged electric, eclectic and exciting. Their music will move your body and reach into your soul - it is music for everyone - full of beautiful vocals, stark strong drums and guitars that resonate perfectly with the ear.

The Wireflys layer melodic sounds over heart-pumping rock, creating music that can sooth the soul, or wake it right up shaking it to the core. The band are currently working on their next EP, and it is going to be one well worth getting your hands onto as critics have noted:

The Wireflys didn't disappoint, mesmerising the audience with a passionate, organic and rather large sound for a three piece. The Wireflys played an amazing, dynamic set that exceeded my expectations.- Indie Initiative

The band have shown they are more than capable of becoming one of Australia's great rock acts. It will be interesting to watch their development.- fasterlouder.com.au

A very tight unit indeed, with Benjamin Pile driving the band in the Spinal Tap 'exploding drummer' tradition. Definitely worth catching if you spot them in a whatson. - Sydney Indie Media

Frontman and bass player Chris Tester is joined by guitarist Justin Holland, with drummer Ben Briscoe rounding out the line-up, pulling the whole band tighter than an over-sized mosh pit. The band is armed with the right tools to construct a massive live show & is ready to show you why they deserve your eyes and ears. Career highlights thus far include supporting Radio Birdman and Wolfmother.
