I was born in Newcastle on June 17 1979, and listened to some dubious styles of music growing up. My first concert as a teenager was Poison. Not quite satisifed with that dose of glam rock, I proceeded to move on to Motley Crue's Dr Feelgood tour in 1990. This proved to be a pivotal moment in my life as I knew from that moment my mission would be to see as many bands as possible. I turned to heavier music in the earlier 90's and was stunned by the 1993 Metallica/Kyuss tour. It would be another 5 years before I started to see bands and the ever important festivals on a regular basis. Once 18 and earning my own money, I havent looked back. I have seen more bands and festivals in various locations than anyone I personally know and most friends often question what gig will be next. The only thing in my life that rivals my passion for gigging and music in general is my family, son Cooper and fiance Victoria.
