OVERDRIVE is located at the Lands Office Tavern, cnr of George and Mary Streets, Brisbane City. We have membership, which gives you cheap entry and a range of other benefits.
Music is a passion to me. Many moons ago, the Lands Office was my regular haunt at a night club called Mass (A nod and a wink to Mr Timothy Leckie). Mass gave me the new alternative music I was craving at the time. This is my aim today - to promote good quality music to the punters who are craving the same thing as me - good music
The style will be focused on the last 8 years of indie/alt style stuff, keeping right up to date with the newest stuff to hit the decks. There will be throwbacks to the older early to mid 90s stuff (They Might Be Giants, Pixies, The Breeders, Pop Will Eat Itself, Mudhoney), plus all the coolest (and maybe not so cool) retro classics
So make your way to the long forgotten back end of the city and check out OVERDRIVE.
