All About Me
Hey all,
The first sentence in an "about me" line is usually a kick in the pretentious piss-hole, so I'll be gentle.
I'm Oliver (Oli) and I'm a 19 year old who lives in the squeaky clean, 'anti-everything "loud"' suburbs of Brisbane. I've been too'ing and fro'ing between tertiary institutions and am still mentally preparing myself for a course later on in the year (I still have some preparing to go). In the meantime I've been known to spew a lot of opinionated gumph, to shave off some steam both in real life and in the 'blogosphere' ("shame that word is actually coined, but anyway...").
I work at a Pharmacy in Cannon Hill selling Viagra to the geriatrics and Methadone to the addicts (it's not that bad, not really, but a little drama goes a long way).
My induction into the push and shove lifestyle of music festivals began last year at the 2009 Big Day Out and since then have become somewhat of a junkie. It's still believed by my peers that my New Year's begins on the first day of Splendour in the Grass, but whatever, I'm rambling.
As one of the many guerrilla contributors for this website I'll do my best to give you a run down on whatever thingy I'm at at the time. Whether I'm able to type something that isn't incoherent shit is another story. Either way, I'll do my best and put my own spin on what the fuck happens to be surrounding me at the time!
