Following on from last year’s successful matchmaking program – MTV’s Meet or Delete has been optioned for a second season – giving Uni students in Sydney and Melbourne the chance to hook up in front of the cameras.
Last year MTV and HP’s Meet or Delete hit Universities in Sydney and Melbourne in a bid to help Uni students connect with gig buddies, band-mates, flat-mates and partners. The twist… instead of meeting face to face they’ll had to decide if they’d like to meet based only on the contents of their PC hard drives!
This year teh show will focus on students looking for love… or at least someone to hit the beach with over summer. Contestants are given unlimited access to scan three candidates PC hard drives. As the probing goes deeper and deeper into their digital persona they decide if they’d like to Meet the owner of the PC or Delete them!
Auditions for the show commence August 2nd starting at Sydney University followed by University of Melbourne August 8th and Queensland University Of Technology August 16th. Performing at each event will be a slew of great indie acts. Red Riders will perform at Sydney University, Children Collide at Melbourne University and Operator Please at Queensland University Of Technology. The indie kids from Purple Sneakers will DJ alongside the bands at each location
