Chatterbox and RiSH Records godigital

Brian McDonald RiSH Records and Nik Tropiano Chatterbox Records have each announced the launch of a digital-only-label as part of their Record Labels. The aim of their new “e-labels” is to find local, national and international bands to work together with, promoting new music.
Each label will release one digital single in consecutive months of each other; Chatterbox[E] launching on 7th August with the Grand Fatal single Dots & Dashes – and RiSH[E] will be launching on 4th September with Bitchslap’s single Give Me My Life Back.
Offers Tropiano:”Chatterbox Records will be creating its own 7” Vinyl Club al a Subpop in the 80s, but we also need to look at where music is headed in this day and age, so essentially our new “E” labels, is that very same ethos and vibe but available on a more up-to-date platform.”
McDonald added “It will also be a very valuable A&R tool for both Chatterbox and RiSH Records in finding new bands and artists to work with, with a view to maybe developing certain acts further and becoming part of our rosters”.
At the end of the initial twelve months, the labels will join forces to issue the 12 tracks on a hard copy compilation CD – this will also be available as an iTunes digital compilation at $16.99.
