The Police announce Oz tourdates

The wait is finally over… Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland aka The Police will be spending summer downunder, with stadium shows announced nationwide for January and February 2008.

To date, The Police reunion tour has sold 1,770,000 tickets with more shows to be announced. Following their US tour The Police will head off to Europe for the first of 25 shows before returning to the US for further dates, followed by shows in Mexico and South America – then finally Australia and NZ

A portion of the proceeds from this tour will be donated to WaterAid, an international NGO, founded in 1981 and dedicated to reducing poverty by improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education. For information, visit: www.wateraid.org.
