Tue 26th Jun, 2007 in Local News
OK Go, the rock band sensation known for their energetic songs and original videos, will be touring Oz in August. The band, who won a grammy this year for their widely popular video of Here it goes again, is still promoting their album Oh No, a followup album to their 2002 self titled debut OK Go.
The band, who became an internet sensation for their elaborated coreographies and creative videos like A Million Ways, Do what you want and Here it goes again, has been around since 1998 and their popularity keeps increasing ever since. They currently hold record viewings and top honors on Youtube and have a Grammy Award.
The band is formed by Damian Kulash on the vocals, Tim Nordwind on the base, Dan Konopka on the drums and Andy Ross playing the guitar. While commenting on the band’s energy Kulash said: “”Everyone tells us rock and roll is a shadow of itself – a sad old milk cow smiling at the farmer every morning. We still see a buckingbull smashing around the stable.”
With all that energy, their music and original acts, the band will definitely give an aggressive performance. The band’s tour dates are:
