These day’s he’s probably best known as father to one half of the star’s of the Simple Life – but there was a time when Lionel Richie ranked amongst the coolest cats on the music scene. Well now Richie is hoping to revive your memories of yesteryear as he brings his live show down under for the very first time in almost twenty years.
Ritchie is slated to play a series of arena concerts as well as appear at a series of A Day on the Green events. Speaking of the planned tour Richie said: “I’m really looking forward to this tour. I can’t believe it was 20 years since I last toured there! I hope my fans are ready to dance, because if I have my way they’re not going to sit down once the show starts.”
Joining Lionel on his upcoming tour is Australia’s favourite diva and celebrated singer, Marcia Hines. Tickets on sale June 25.
