Abe Sada host fundraiser

What do you get when you put four bassists in a room full of pedals and other gadgetry? Abe Sada, that’s what you get. With new EP Subzilla ready to launch, the experimental foursome are taking things up a notch, with a Japanese tour planned for June and July.
To celebrate the release of Subzilla and to raise some much-needed funds ahead of the trip (a loaf of bread costs around A$7 in Tokyo, apparently), the guys and girl will play a headline gig at the Artrage Bakery this Friday (June 1).
Joining them are fellow noisemakers Cease and Bamodi, as well as Fall Electric, Rumbledethump and phallic rock supremos The Devil Rides Out. Between (and possibly during) sets, you’ll be treated to clips from Japanese films, Japanese food and sake cocktails, all for just $15.
