Betchadupa’s Liam Finn returns to Australia to deliver listeners with a taste of his new solo album and Finn is shaping up to be the heir apparent to the family’s musical legacy…

Since relocating to London with Betchadupa in 2005, Finn has been a busy busy boy playing live gigs and sharpening his writing skills for his new album I’ll be Lightning – he even found time to slot in an appearance with the family – opening for Crowded House as they toured the US and joining them on stage at Coachella.

Naturally he’s most eager to show Australian audiences his new tracks and will be singing, playing guitar lines, bass lines and the drums onstage at his solo gigs, with only a looping effects pedal for company…
