Fear of Comedy set to sizzle
Tue 8th May, 2007 in Local News
The debut EP from indie/punk/experimental/whatever act Fear of Comedy is all wrapped up and ready, set for release later this month.
Murder Made Sexy puts on record what the five-piece band has been cooking up on stage for a number of years now: a sinister blend of just about every genre under the sun. Mixing ideas from their favourite movies with their cocktail of seemingly contradictory musical influences, Fear of Comedy are take a similar approach to that of Snowman and create a sound that’s very much their own.
The band will launch the EP on May 26 at the Artrage Bakery with support from a host of top acts. Capital City will join the party, as will the Macarburettors, Tomas Ford and Mile End. Doors open at 8pm and entry will set you back a mere $10.
