The end for Sunk Loto
Wed 2nd May, 2007 in Local News
After a successful 10-year career the members of Sunk Loto have decided to call it a day citing creative differences.
In a message on their MySpace page the band thanked their “die-hard loyal fans, friends and family for sticking with them over the years and making it all worth while”. The heavy-metal band released two full-length albums, 2000’s massively popular Big Picture Lies and their 2004 comeback Between Birth and Death. At the time of their signing with Sony Music Australia in 1999 the average age of the band was 16 years old.
Founding members of Sunk Loto, vocalist Jason Brown and drummer Dane Brown have formed a new band with ex-Full Scale/Sunk Loto bass player Robkaay and have already begun working on new material.
