With only a handful of Australian acts announced, tickets for the 2004 Falls Festival have gone on sale. This year’s festival will again run over two days, at two different sites; it’s faithful old stomping ground at Lorne in Victoria and Marion Bay in Tasmania.

The first acts confirmed for the line up are: The John Butler Trio, Hilltop Hoods, Rocket Science, The Panics, and Missy Higgins. These acts will be playing both the Victorian and Tasmanian events. The festival promoters have promised that this is just the tip of the iceberg and expect a range of bands jam packed into the two days.

Tickets are available from a variety of sources including independent records stores, Ticketek, and the Falls Festival website. Lorne tickets will set you back $99 + booking fee, and those for Marion Bay cost $87 + booking fee. The ticket price includes camping over the New Years weekend.
