Wanna be the Next Big Thing?

Next Big Thing organisers have put the call out for entrants for the 2007 edition of the competition… and you’ve got until May 18 to get your entries in.

NBT has a reputation for launching some of WA’s most loved bands. Long before the trio were topping the charts and winning ARIAs, John Butler was a Next Big Thing winner, as were Snowman and Fourth Floor Collapse. Last year’s winners were Streetlight, with Mink Mussel Creek second and instrumental act Hooper’s Store in third place.

The total prize pool for this year’s event cashes in at over $70,000, with heats held around Perth as well as eight regional centres in June.
