THE USED ARE COMING BACK IN 2009 – CHECK OUT THE NATIONAL DATES HERE.

After taking 3 months off to continue writing for the debut album, The
Getaway Plan are set to make a comeback to the Australian touring circuit
this May, in support of the highly influential rock act The Used. The three
sold out dates on the tour (which will hit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney)
will be fans’ first chance to hear new material from their forthcoming album.

The Getaway Plan released their debut EP Hold Conversation in March
2006 to acclaim from both fans and critics alike. They have since supported
Taking Back Sunday, I Killed the Prom Queen, and From Autumn to Ashes, and were lucky enough to be a part of the annual Boys of Summer and Boomtown Showdown tours. Their single If the Suspense Doesn’t Kill Us has scored a healthy show of Triple J support, and the band has gone on to sell over 6,000 copies of the debut – a fantastic beginning to what is sure to be a strong career in Australian rock. Respected UK Magazine Rock Sound also listed the band as one of the top bands to watch in 2007, alongside Panic! at the Disco and My Chemical Romance.

The Getaway Plan’s debut album is expected to be released this summer.
