Wed 18th Apr, 2007 in Local News
Some of the city’s best musicians will be performing their favourite Finn Brothers tunes on Saturday May 19th in support of WWF Australia’s efforts to tackle climate change. Try Whistling This: A Finn Brothers Tribute Night will feature performances from Glasshouse, James from the Boat People, Dead Day Sun, Hot Liquid Sex, Grand Atlantic, Emma Dean and Tara Simmons.
WWF Australia point out we are the highest per-capita greenhouse gas polluters in the world, because most of our electricity comes from burning coal. They’re working with partners to develop a policy roadmap for how to achieve a 60 per cent cut greenhouse pollution from electricity by the middle of the century.
Get on down to the Troubadour on May 19th, tickets are $20 on the door or $16 presale from www.bonefingerrecords.com.
