Sex Panther will play a huge fundraiser gig at Club Capitol this month ahead of their trip to The Great Escape Festival in England. Since emerging last year, the all-girl band have quickly become one of Perth’s buzz bands and they’ll ice the cake in May when they visit England for the first time.
The Great Escape Festival goes hand-in-hand with the Great Escape convention, where a slew of the world’s top new bands will put themselves on display for the movers and shakers of the music industry. The festival takes place on May 17, 18 and 19 and will also feature the likes of The Rakes, British Sea Power, CSS, Art Brut and Australia’s very own Hilltop Hoods.
The fundraiser gig will take place at Capitol on Saturday April 28 and costs just $10. Fresh from an East Coast tour with The Vines, The Silents will help out, as will The Dee Dee Dums, The Jacknives, Cypher and Death Disco DJs.
