Seven more for In the Pines

Organisers have confirmed seven more additions to the lineup for this year’s In the Pines concert. The fundraiser gig for RTR FM is held every April at the Somerville Auditorium at UWA and showcases the best of WA talent.

Schvendes head the second announcement just days after returning from a successful trip to Canadian Music Week, with Twice the Man hitting number two on Toronto student radio.

Institut Polaire, who have recently signed a deal with Popfrenzy, and Dom Mariani and the Majestic Kelp will also join the bill, as well as The Painkillers, Stina, The Leap Year and Sex Panther.

Last week’s initial lineup announcement confirmed The Kill Devil Hills and Eleventh He Reaches London for the April 14 show, alongside The Dee Dee Dums, Burton Cool Suit, The City Watch, The Devil Rides Out and Abbe May and the Rockin’ Pneumonia.

Tickets are $15 for RTR subscribers and $20 for the general public. Subscribers must pick their tickets up from the RTR office on Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley, while non-subscribers can get tickets from 78 Records, Mill’s Records, Planet Video and Dada’s.
