44 arrested at Homebush overweekend sniffer dog operation

Reports have surfaced that 44 arrests were made over the weekend at Homebush leading to 10 people being charged with drug offences.

Police swooped on two events at the Olympic Park precinct, the 14,000 person Korn, Fear Factory, Static-X and Sunk Loto concert at the Superdome, and then later in the evening at a 4,000 person dance party at the State Sports Centre.

Of the arrests made, 10 were charged with supplying a prohibited drug, 33 arrested for possession of a prohibited drug, and one for a first instance warrant.

im glad i live up in queensland where theyre not allowed to use dogs to search you without suspicion. the sooner the government realises the 'war on drugs' doesnt work and invest money otherwise spent on better projects the better. all they are doing i
