Perth four-piece Capital City will head off on a national tour in April to celebrate the launch of debut album Bad Money. The blues-meets-punk act have spent their fair share of time in the UK and the east coast in recent years with their upcoming tour will mark the start of their plans for conquest.
The tour begins on March 31, when the band plays to their home crowd at Amplifier Bar in Perth. They’ll be joined by hotly-tipped Sex Panther, The Blast Off Girls and Melbourne’s Kamikaze Trio, the latter of whom will also play with Mink Mussel Creek, Slim Pickins and Snowman’s Joe McKee at the Swan Basement on March 29.
The tour continues on April 8 when Capital City and Kamikaze Trio join forces once again at the Crown and Anchor in Adelaide. From there, CC will go on to Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne for double-header gigs with fellow sandgropers The Kill Devil Hills.
