Obituary add Perth date toAustralian tour
Wed 14th Mar, 2007 in Local News
Fans of death metal take note. Obituary, one of the genre’s founding fathers, have added a Perth date to their upcoming Australian tour. As well as shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, the band will now play at Club Capitol on May 19.
Though Obituary have been at the forefront of the death metal scene for over 20 years and have toured relentlessly throughout their existence, their May tour will be their first visit to Australia. 15 years after debut album Slowly We Rot caused a stir, 2005 album Frozen in Time put the Florida band back on the map and now with their Frozen Alive DVD on shelves, Obituary have yet another reason to break their Aussie duck.
Support for the Perth gig will come from Enforce, Left Ablaze and Gallows for Grace. Tickets are available from BOCS outlets and 78 Records.
