Bluebottle Kiss make a SlightReturn

Bluebottle Kiss just keep on keeping on. Their longevity is not without justification though, as 2006 saw the band at their most potent and adventurous.

Along with a visit to SXSW and showcases in Los Angeles and New York, the band released their storming double CD, Doubt Seeds. The album was widely lauded as a highly original exploration of popular music ranging from Miles Davis to Fugazi and, among other accolades, came in at #3 on the Mess + Noise critics and listeners poll/s. Not bad for a band thirteen years into its life.

But then Bluebottle Kiss have built a career on challenging musical expectations. With the announcement of a final tour in support of Doubt Seeds, the band are yet again taking another step down the road less travelled. The Slight Return tour will showcase a new mini-LP, Slight Return + Out Seeds, featuring a new single, ‘Slight Return’ plus seven unreleased tracks from the incredibly rich Doubt Seeds sessions.

Another exciting development will see Bluebottle Kiss record a live album over the final two nights of the tour at Sydney’s Annandale Hotel. The band will trawl though their substantial catalogue – some 130 plus released songs to choose from  - for the occasion.

Long recognised as one of Australia’s most intense and accomplished live bands, celebrate 13 years of rock and roll with Bluebottle Kiss and special guests Deloris at the following venues:
