Bodyjar - alive and kicking
Wed 7th Mar, 2007 in Local News
Hardcore punk rockers Bodyjar have just released their first live CD Is it Alive to the hungry masses and the result has been massive. So much so that the band will be kicking off on a series of tour dates to celebrate.
The CD marks the band’s first live release after four studio efforts. ”We’ve always wanted to do a live album and by chance someone recorded the band in Sydney with out us even realizing. It had the right vibe so we got Kalju Tonuma to mix it” says vocalist/guitarist Cam Baines.
Sydney’s Annandale Hotel on the Call to Arms Tour in front of a full house of Body Jar fans – the release captures the vibe of a show that has since gone down in Body Jar history as being kick arse.
The band will hit the East Coast for a run of shows in March, performing with some of their fave Australian bands. Catch them soon at a venue near you.
