Something With Numbers are definitely living up to their tag as a band to watch in 2007. The band released their sophomore album Perfect Distraction in October last year and it shot straight to number 34 on the National ARIA charts spawning the hit Apple of the Eye (Lay Me Down) .

Since it s release SWN have really been cooking; with a sold out national album tour, main stage debuts at Homebake Festival, Pyramid Festival, Soundwave festival and the much talked about performance at Sydney’s Big Day Out that included eight security guards on stage to stop the 6000 strong crowd from storming the stage during their set. To top it all off Channel V has just announced Numbers front man Jake Grigg as co-host with James Matheison of their new program The Rock Room.

According to the PTB at Rolling Stone “The guys are in the best form of their career. Goodbye Mickey Finn is where the band flex their newly developed muscles in a commercial smashing pumpkins-edged giant…”

Now that’s some build-up, but rest assured the band will live up to the hype when they launch their current brutal schedule of live dates…
