UK chanteuse Joss Stone will finally land in Australia this April for one show only at Sydney’s  Enmore Theatre.

Stone first gained attention for her debut release The Soul Sessions in 2003,  the then 14 year old singer instantly found acclaim for her smokey voice and natural delivery – evoking comparisons to many of the blues/jazz world’s best.

Her follow up CD Mind Body and Soul featured original tracks and earned the singer multiple Grammy nominations. While Stone failed to win, her popularity grew and soon other musicians were clamouring to collaborate with the singer.

This year she won her first Grammy for  ’Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group’- for her Family Affair collaboration with John Legend and Van Hunt on the Sly Stone tribute album Different Strokes By Different Folks.

Stone will makes her first trip to Australia in April to  promote her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, slated for release on  March 17 through Virgin/EMI Music, with the first single “Tell Me ‘Bout It” in stores on March 10.
