Wed 21st Feb, 2007 in Local News
The raw power that is Melbourne’s The Nation Blue have just announced two shows to launch their highly anticipated long-player, Protest Songs, which is schedule for release on March 3.
Protest Songs will follow on from the band’s 2004 release Damnation. Calling on the efforts of producer / engineer Matt Voigt (Cat Power, KISS) to harness the unrelenting severity of The Nation Blue’s sound, Protest Songs will undoubtedly devour ears and anything else lying in its wake.
To mark the release and rock the cities’ foundations, The Nation Blue will play an in-store gig at Missing Link on Friday March 2 at 5.30pm. The band will also be playing an intimate but very loud show at the Cherry Bar on Saturday March 31. Tickets will only be available at the door, so be there early to reserve your slice of the action!
